For the second year in a row the Bolshoi Theatre holds on-line project Bolshoi Opera Day, offering the viewers to peep behind the scenes of the theatre.
On the agenda will be a preparation for the premiere of the opera The Snow Maiden by N. Rimsky-Korsakov. During the four-hour-long live broadcast opera fans will be able to watch the process of the creation of the opera production, meet opera singers, directors and scenographers, visit costume workshops, watch the rehearsal of the orchestra and even get acquainted with the history of the performance in the museum of the theatre!
The Head of the Bolshoi’s press office Katerina Novikova and the artist of the Young Artists Opera Program Taras Prisyazhnyuk will conduct you through the Theatre’s backstage and show the life of the Bolshoi Theatre prior to the première.
