On Thursday TV Rain (Dozhd) is celebrating its 10th anniversary with an 8-hour music and celebrity marathon to raise money to buy PPE (personal protective equipment) for medics treating coronavirus patients and to pay for trips to the regions for medical personnel and social workers.
The musical line-up is the who’s who of Russia’s best rock and pop musicians, including Mumy Troll, Leonid Agutin, Valery Meladze, Boris Grebenshchikov, Andrei Makarevich, Yuri Shevchuk, Bravo, Chaif, Mgzavrebi, Vyacheslav Butusov and many more.
Did we mention Boris Grebenshchikov (Aquarium), Andrei Makarevich (Mashina Vremeni), and Yuri Shevchuk (DDT)? They’re going to be there, too. You don’t want to miss them.
Some of the celebrities who promise to come: Yulia Vysotskaya, Vladimir Pozner, Ingeborga Dapkunaite, and Kristina Orbakaite.
