Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk has donated almost RUB 3.5 million to purchase medical equipment for Tomsk City Hospital No. 3. The funds have been used for the re-equipment of the intensive care unit and the critical care ward of the hospital.
“We have long wanted to purchase state-of-the-art equipment for dosed supply of medications, as this type of equipment is very important for patients in the intensive care unit. But now, as we are facing the threat of coronavirus spread, this equipment becomes even more significant,” explained Andrey Koshel, Chief Doctor of the Regional Autonomous Public City Clinical Hospital No. 3 named after Boris Alperovich. “I would like to thank Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk for their invaluable help.”
Tomsk City Hospital No. 3 is currently receiving patients with suspected COVID-19.
“We are doing everything possible to prevent the spread of the coronavirus; we are strictly monitoring the health condition of our employees,” said Vladislav Borodin, Director General of Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk. “But it is specialized medical facilities that take the main brunt of this pandemic. I believe that they need support from all of us in this challenging time. We are planning to provide financial assistance to other medical and preventive treatment facilities located in the regions of operations of Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk.”
