Winter in Russia

Russia

In the European part of the Russian the summer is warm and lasts from June to August inclusive. There is much sunshine at this season, but it also rains sometimes. In May and September the weather is warm and sunny. September is especially good with its calm, warm, sunny days. In spring and autumn the weather is cool, and from December through March frosty, with much snow. Frosts of 10—15°C below zero, however, are tolerated with comparative ease because the air is dry.

In the south of the Russian the temperature rarely drops below zero even in January. The bathing season on the Black Sea shore lasts from May to October.

In  Siberia the summer is hot and dry, whereas the autumn is mild and sunny. In Siberia there are hard frosts in winter, while the summer is very warm.
