Today, Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, as part of the Russian delegation, participated in the negotiations held in Tehran between Sergey Tsivilev, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, and the officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The meetings addressed the matters of cooperation between Russia and Iran in the energy sector.

In June 2024, the Strategic Memorandum on the elaboration of arrangements for supplies of Russian natural gas to Iran was signed with National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) during the visit of Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, to Iran.
Gazprom has a Representative Office in Iran.
