On June 15 and 16, 169 shift workers of Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk arrived at the Chayandinskoye field in Yakutia.
Most of the duty staff at the production site who have completed their three-month shift will be changed over. The shift period was extended in line with the measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus infection. Another 150 employees of the company will arrive at the Chayandinskoye field before the end of June. In this way, Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk will perform a total changeover of the shift personnel who have worked their first extended shift in Yakutia.
While arranging the changeover procedure, the company followed all the recommendations of the Russian Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Wellbeing (Rospotrebnadzor) regarding the prevention of the coronavirus, which are being implemented in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
Before coming to the field, employees spent 14 days under close medical monitoring at the places of temporary accommodation in Noyabrsk. During that period, they had two tests for the coronavirus infection, both of which yielded negative results.
The shift personnel was brought to Yakutia by two charter flights and then transferred to the field by corporate vehicles, with all the necessary epidemiological safety precautions taken.
Enhanced safety measures have been implemented at the field. Distinct zoning of the active infrastructure and construction sites is aimed at preventing the coronavirus infection from spreading into continuous production facilities.
The entire team is regularly supplied with sanitizers and disposable masks; working spaces and production facilities are disinfected every day.
About 20 medical workers are employed full time at the field. An isolation ward and an intensive care unit with medical ventilators have been set up, and a mobile CT scanner and a laboratory for rapid on-site PCR diagnostic testing of the personnel are now in operation.
The additional anti-epidemic measures being taken by Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk when arranging shift work at the Chayandinskoye field are aimed at protecting the health of workers and ensuring safety and operational continuity during gas production, treatment and further supply into the Power of Siberia gas pipeline.
Background
Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gazprom, develops seven fields, including four gas fields, two gas and condensate fields, and one oil, gas and condensate field.
The company’s facilities, among them three gas production sites and three gas production directorates, are located in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area, Kamchatka, and Yakutia.
As an operator, the company provides gas production and treatment services to independent subsoil users at the Gubkinskoye, Muravlenkovskoye, Novogodneye, Vyngapurovskoye, Tarasovskoye, Severo-Gubkinskoye, Vyuzhnoye, Metelnoye, and Yety-Purovskoye fields (Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area).
Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk has adopted and implemented an integrated management system consistent with the requirements of the STO Gazprom 9001 corporate standard and the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 50001 international standards.
The company employs more than 4,500 people. It is headquartered in Noyabrsk.
