Charity hockey match held as part of United Future: Good to Children program

Background

Gazprom Dobycha Urengoy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gazprom, was set up to develop the Urengoyskoye oil, gas and condensate field, one of the largest in the world. Its production infrastructure consists of 22 comprehensive gas treatment units, two oil production sites, 20 booster compressor stations, five gas cooling stations, more than 2,800 production wells, two compressor stations for the utilization of associated petroleum gas, and a pump station for condensate delivery. Over the years, the company has laid more than 1,300 kilometers of inter-field and 2,800 kilometers of in-field pipelines, and created an extensive industrial infrastructure that ensures reliable operation of oil and gas production facilities.

The environmental activity of Gazprom Dobycha Urengoy is certified in accordance with the international ISO 14001 standards and has been recognized as consistent with environmental management requirements. The company employs more than 12,000 people. Its headquarters are located in the city of Novy Urengoy.

On November 30, 2018, Gazprom Dobycha Urengoy and the Yamine Charity Foundation, which was created to support children of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area, signed an agreement to carry out the United Future: Good to Children program. The project is meant to provide targeted assistance to children with disabilities in the city of Novy Urengoy and the entire region.

Fundraising centers were set up at all branches of Gazprom Dobycha Urengoy. The company’s employees can contact their respective accounting departments and send their donations to the Yamine Charity Foundation’s account. To date, these charitable efforts have already shown results: between November and December 2018, the Yamine Charity Foundation received RUB 857,209 in donations.
