News from projects and regions
The specialists of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Ulyanovsk and Gazprom Gazoraspredeleniye Ulyanovsk have increased the preventive measures aimed at combating the coronavirus infection.
In the three months of 2020 since the introduction of restrictive measures, over 400 employees of the gas companies in the region have been tested for COVID-19. These are mainly the specialists who are in constant personal contact with consumers: response teams of the gas dispatch and emergency service, personnel of client service centers and contact centers, and employees who provide maintenance services for domestic gas equipment.
Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Ulyanovsk and Gazprom Gazoraspredeleniye Ulyanovsk are currently taking all the required protective measures: daily temperature screenings of the employees and compliance with stringent hygienic requirements at the workplace. The client service centers and contact centers which have been re-opened for visitors are equipped with special protective screens, and the personnel of the centers are wearing masks and gloves at work. The response teams of the gas dispatch and emergency service and the personnel who perform the maintenance of domestic gas appliances abide by all preventive measures in their work. Office spaces, equipment and special-purpose machinery are treated with disinfectants.
“In the current epidemiological situation, we continue paying particular attention to the implementation of preventive measures at all stages of our interaction with consumers, so that to ensure the safety and protection of our clients and personnel to the maximum extent possible,” said Vladimir Kameko, Director General of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Ulyanovsk and Gazprom Gazoraspredeleniye Ulyanovsk.
