A number of documents to expand cooperation between Gazprom and Russian industrial enterprises were signed today at St. Petersburg International Gas Forum 2024.
The documents are aimed at strengthening the potential of Russian manufacturers and increasing the production of advanced products for the fuel and energy complex.
Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, and Mikhail Evraev, Governor of the Yaroslavl Region, inked a roadmap to expand the use of high-tech products of regional manufacturers, including import-substituting items, for the benefit of the Company.
This is the first document of this kind signed between the Company and the Yaroslavl Region. It covers the period from 2024 through 2027. It is stipulated by the roadmap that the region’s Government will compile a list of proposals from the regional enterprises regarding the supplies of equipment and technologies in demand by Gazprom. The Company will assess the proposals for their compliance with the corporate technical requirements. After passing the relevant certification procedure, the products will be permitted for use at Gazprom’s facilities and be eligible for the Company’s corporate procurement procedures.
The Yaroslavl Region is home to a number of large industrial enterprises, including manufacturers of gas turbine engines and gas turbine units, as well as gas compressor units and power generation units.
A number of documents were signed in the presence of Alexey Miller.
Gazprom and Russian Stainless Company signed an agreement of intent.
The parties plan to cooperate in covering the needs of Gazprom for rolled metal products made of stainless and corrosion-resistant steels and alloys.
Gazprom and the Apatit mineral fertilizer manufacturer signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
The companies are interested in developing long-term partnership as regards the supplies of sulfur produced by the Gazprom Group to Apatit’s processing facilities. In particular, long-term supply contracts are planned to be signed.
An agreement of strategic partnership and cooperation was signed between Gazprom and United Engine Corporation (UEC, part of the Rostec State Corporation).
The parties will work on organizing the batch production, maintenance and repair of domestic gas turbine engines of the AL series. Inter alia, the parties will consider concluding a relevant long-term contract for the manufacture, supply and maintenance of the AL-41ST-25 gas turbine engine for the needs of Gazprom.
The first prototype of the domestic AL-41ST-25 engine with a capacity of 25 MW was developed by UEC at the request of Gazprom. The technical solutions employed in the engine’s structure make it possible to use it as the basis for creating a lineup of engines with a capacity of up to 32 and 42 MW. In September 2024, the pilot operation of the engine in a gas compressor unit started.
The AL-41ST-25 engine is also on display at SPIGF 2024.
A business-class helicopter which is designed for long-distance transportation of up to ten passengers has been presented by Gazprom and Russian Helicopters at SPIGF 2024. This modification was created on the basis of the Mi-171A3 helicopter of Russian make. The newly developed helicopter is suitable for operation in a wide range of climatic conditions, including in the Arctic latitudes.
