Food Fests From East and West

All throughout the quarantine period, our friends and neighbors at the Hyatt Regency Petrovsky Park kept us well-fed with weekend deliveries of delicious foreign cuisine. They are continuing the tradition of enticing international food and drink. Only now, we can get out of the house and go to them.

Singaporean Cuisine Festival

The first special culinary event is a set menu of Singaporean cuisine served on the top floor Oriental Cocktail Bar, where you can enjoy the beautiful Indian summer weather with incredible views of the city and park. The meal, which reflects the Malaysian, Chinese, Indian and European gastronomic traditions that are part of Singaporean cuisine, consists of a Singaporean papaya salad with prawns and peanut sauce, followed by laksa soup with coconut curry, noodle, chicken, shrimp and tofu. The main course is a choice of chicken satay with tapioca cakes and roti prata or fish curry with rice, served with roti prata. Dessert is mango sago pudding with mint.

The offer, which runs through Oct. 7, is 2,500 rubles per person and includes a welcome drink to get you into the Singaporean mood.

Oktoberfest at the Promenade Lounge

If you want to go west rather than east, from now until Oct. 4, you can take a virtual trip to celebrate Oktoberfest in the Hyatt’s comfortable ground-floor lounge. Choose from their great beer list and the special menu of spicy and savory grilled sausages and burgers and other traditional fare. You might take the edge off with some pretzels and pickles and cheddar dip or buttered cheese balls with BBQ sauce while your sausages or burgers are prepared. For a real treat, try to Bavarian roasted pork knuckle with roasted potatoes, and be sure to end the meal with a home-made strudel.

The menu is offered every day from 12:30 to 10:30 p.m. until Oct. 4.

The Hyatt is located at 36 Leningradsky Prospekt, Bldg 33, where the Prospekt crosses the Third Ring Road. For more information, call +7 (495) 479 1234 or see the website here
