Though much of Russia will vote in the country’s regional elections on Sept. 10, early voting is already underway in the country’s most hard-to-reach areas to allow residents who cannot make it to a polling station to cast their ballots.
On the Taimyr Peninsula of Russia’s Far North, election workers brought ballot boxes to the region’s indigenous reindeer-herding communities.
They will cast their votes for the Krasnoyarsk regional governor’s race.
