Sochi, April 15, 2019 — Ilya Rebrov, Chief Financial Officer of the State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM, and Vsevolod Smakov, Head of Directorate for Industry of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), signed an agreement on mutual understanding and cooperation at the 11th ATOMEXPO 2019 International Forum.
The agreement opens up prospects for joint work with a view to implementing Rosatom’s projects, particularly in such areas as smart cities, clean water, wind energy, etc.
As a result of signing the agreement, the parties will be able to cooperate in analyzing Rosatom’s projects and establishing possible conditions for EDB to finance projects.
“The signing of this agreement is an important step towards establishing a strategic partnership between Rosatom and EDB,” said Ilya Rebrov, Chief Financial Officer of ROSATOM.
“The Bank is interested in establishing partnering relations and mutually beneficial cooperation with a view to implementing Rosatom’s projects,” said Vsevolod Smakov, Head of Project Division at the EDB.
