The Communications Department of ROSATOM confirmed that on 23 February, four employees of the central branch of Atomspetstrans JSC – Vladimir Lapin, Ilgiz Khusnetdinov, Ivan Kryachko and Vladislav Shishkin – delivered goods to the Rovno NPP in accordance with contractual obligations. Since then, the Russian specialists have been unable to return to Russia.
Through the Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to International Organizations in Vienna, ROSATOM notified the Secretariat of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) of this fact, expressing alarm and concern about this situation.
