ROSATOM has launched educational program for the “Engineering Design” competency on the basis of the Engineering Design (Atomenergoproekt JSC ICC “Engineering Design”, part of the ROSATOM Engineering Division) industry competence center.
The training course is intended for specialists of the Joint Design Institute of Atomenergoproekt JSC (JDI) involved in the design of nuclear power facilities. More than 200 employees from Moscow, St. Petersburg and Nizhny Novgorod submitted applications to improve their professional competencies.
The proposed training format will allow developing both applicative knowledge and skills, as well as the principles of teamwork and interdisciplinary interaction of JDI employees.
“In order to create a sought-after, high-quality and competitive product, it is necessary to constantly evolve, keep up with the times and even be one step ahead. Each member of our huge team of designers will be able to gain both new knowledge, systematize existing experience, and consolidate skills in practice. Today, it is almost impossible to imagine creation of design products without the use of information modeling, which helps solving a huge number of tasks, including the modernization and optimization of design processes, improving the product quality. As part of the training, in addition to engineering, colleagues will gain knowledge and skills in information modeling,” the course expert, Vladimir Kudryashov, said explaining the essence of the upcoming training.
