Rosneft Oil Company held a seminar on “A Leader’s Impact on Safety Culture” for top-managers of the Company, while implementing a large-scale development programme on Health, Safety & Environment (HSE). The event was also attended by representatives of BP and Equinor.
The key purposes of the seminar were the exchange of experience in HSE with partner companies, the role of the management in this matter, as well as the development on further measures to improve the safety culture.
The development of the safety culture and strengthening of the leading position in HSE are among the key priorities of Rosneft. The HSE performance grows due to the complex approach to its development. The seminar demonstrated that BP and Equinor share Rosneft’s initiatives in HSE.Annual HSE seminars for top-managers of Rosneft and its partner companies are becoming a traditional and effective platform for communication to develop key decisions and exchange experience in the safety culture and leadership. In 2017, the seminar’s topic was “Global Leadership in Production Safety”. The third HSE seminar is scheduled on 2019.
