Rosneft retail network is first in Russia to launch a service of fuel payments via a mobile app for corporate customers. The RN-Card app is available for smartphones running iOS and Android.
Until now, the fuel-filling payment service was piloted in Moscow, Moscow Region and Smolensk. Today, the feature can be used in every region of the Company’s operation, on most filling stations under Rosneft, TNK, BP and Bashneft brands.
Rosneft is the only company in the Russian fuel market to launch this service for its corporate customers. The RN-Card app can replace plastic fuel cards for the Company’s customers.
The mobile app equipped with a virtual fuel card is an innovative solution utilising new digital technology that can improve the costs of fuels and associated goods. The app is independent from an Internet connection and allows off-line payments. There is a 24h hotline for the customers.
Drivers can also use convenient additional online features on the app, such as
- laying the route on the online map;
- choosing the station where the required type of fuel is available;
- getting updates on the card’s limits.
Digitisation and advanced development are one of the key goals of the Company, in accordance with the Rosneft-2022 Strategy. The RN-Card app was created with Rosneft’s own inventions; its key advantages are security and user-friendliness. The Company continues to work on development of software to boost the efficiency of Rosneft retail business and expand the customer service.
