PAO Severstal, one of the world’s leading vertically-integrated steel and
mining companies, is hosting its annual Capital Markets Day in London
today.
Sakari Tamminen (Senior Independent Director), Alexander Shevelev (Chief
Executive Officer), Alexey Kulichenko (Chief Financial Officer), Maria Shalina
(Marketing Director), Evgeny Chernyakov (Sales and Business Development
Director), and Maxim Semenovykh (Head of Corporate Strategy) will present key
results of Severstal’s new strategy announced in 2018, and will provide an
outlook on the Company’s performance and prospects for further value creation
and shareholder returns.
Alexander Shevelev, Chief Executive Officer, said:

existing and prospective investors. In today’s presentation we will update on
our strategic achievements in the past year, detail the progress we have made
towards our stated goals and set out how we continue to create value for all

steel industry of the future” and with our winning strategy we have shaped a
growth story with very clear drivers, and committed to delivering $2.1 bn of
additional EBITDA in 2018-2023 (excluding market factors). At the same time, we
will maintain our strict approach to capital allocation. And we expect that our
temporary CAPEX increase will not affect our dividend story but will create a
solid platform for further growth and creating value for our shareholders.”
