St. Petersburg International Gas Forum 2024, which took place at the EXPOFORUM Convention and Exhibition Centre starting from October 8, concluded today.
More than 34,000 people representing 54 countries (Russia and 53 states of Asia, Africa, Europe, and Latin America) took part in the SPIGF, which is a record-high number of participants for the forum.
SPIGF 2024 also featured an all-time high of 110 events, 800 presentations and the exhibition area of 50,000 square meters, which became the largest one ever arranged in the history of the forum, showcasing cutting-edge equipment and technologies by 600 enterprises and companies.
“Such a large-scale forum has never happened before. We have achieved the highest, the most advanced level.
The exhibits, technologies and equipment that are on display at the forum have been created as a result of the joint efforts of Gazprom, research institutes, universities, and the Russian Academy of Sciences; this is a work of an ecosystem which is concerted, well-coordinated and, most importantly, focused on specific goals and results.
We are looking into the future with confidence. What we are seeing at the forum is a world-class result,” said Alexey Miller.
