The Gazprom Management Committee took note of the information about the progress of additional gas infrastructure expansion in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, namely the efforts for bringing pipeline gas to the boundaries of private households and boiler houses of medical facilities and educational entities at no cost to the consumers.
The additional gas grid expansion program is being implemented in accordance with the instructions of Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation. Gazprom, as before, maintains a fast pace of the construction activities.
By now, more than 1.4 million households have been made technically capable of taking part in additional gas grid expansion. Pipeline gas has reached the boundaries of over 1.1 million households under the existing contracts with the citizens. The major portion of the works (75 per cent) was performed by the gas distribution entities of the Gazprom Group.
Medical facilities and educational entities are also being switched to pipeline gas. To date, as many as 862 contracts have been signed with such organizations, and gas pipelines have already been laid to the boundaries of 498 facilities and entities.
In 2024, pursuant to the instruction given by Vladimir Putin, the additional gas grid expansion activities were started with regard to the households in gardeners’ non-commercial partnerships that are situated within localities already covered by the gas grid. By now, over 17,000 contracts have been signed with the residents of such gardeners’ partnerships, and a part of them are already completed. One of the important conditions for bringing pipeline gas to the boundaries of gardeners’ land plots is that the owner’s title to his/her house located in a gardeners’ non-commercial partnership is to have a registration with the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography (Rosreestr).
Gazprom is constantly raising the awareness of the Russian population about the possibilities of additional gas grid expansion.
One can receive information about the conditions for getting connected to gas networks, conclude a contract for additional gas grid expansion, make an application for the installation of gas equipment and other services, and follow the progress of the construction works via, inter alia, the website of the Single Operator of gas infrastructure expansion (SO, Gazprom Gazifikatsiya) at https://connectgas.ru. Applications for additional gas infrastructure expansion can be made and the relevant information can be received via the Public Services Portal, at the client centers of the Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Group and via the SO contact center (8-800-101-00-04).
In addition, employees of the gas distribution entities jointly with representatives of municipal authorities regularly perform house-to-house rounds and participate in general meetings of homeowners.
The issue of the progress of additional gas infrastructure expansion in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation will be submitted for consideration by the Board of Directors.
