Going up the Don, the ship crosses the Rostov Region boundary and goes on cruising in the neighbour Volgograd region till the city of Volgograd (former Stalingrad).
Volgograd today is a big industrial, administrative, cultural and educational centre.

Moreover, Volgograd is a monument city. Buildings of tsarist Russia, memorials of historic events, memorial places and city sights are silent custodians of the past witnesses. Tourists will be offered to see the Fallen Fighters square, the Heroes alley, drive along the forward defence line marked by tank towers on pedestals, by the Volga water power plant, and also visit the monument ensemble to the heroes of Stalingrad battle on Mamayev mound and the “Battle of Stalingrad” panorama museum.

On the return way, a “green camp” will be organised for the tourists in a picturesque island, when boats and catamarans will be available. Tourists will be able to go fishing, to take part in cooking the famous Don fish soup (and in eating it, too) and to listen to bard songs at the fire.

Wolgograd

Das Schiff fährt dem Don flußaufwärts, über die Grenze Rostower Gebietes und weiter im Nachbargebiet, Wolgograd Gebiet, bis zum Stadt Wolgograd (früher Stalingrad).
Heute ist Wolgograd ein große Industrie-, Administrations-, Kultur- und Ausbildungszentrum.

Außerdem ist Wolgograd auch eine Denkmalsstadt. Die noch zarist Russlands Gebäude, Mahnmäler für historische Ereignisse, Gedenkorte und Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt bergen die Zeugnisse der Vergangenheit. Hier wird eine solche Exkursion angeboten: Besuch des Platzes der Gefallene Kämpfer, Heldenallee, dann der vordersten Linie der Verteidigung entlang fahren – die Linie wird mit Panzertürme auf Postamenten bezeichnet, ander Wolga Wasserkraftanlage vorbei, und auch das Denkmalensemble für Helden der Stalingradschlacht am Mamajew Hügel und Panorama-Museum „Stalingradschlacht” besuchen.

Auf der Rückfahrt, es wird eine „grüne Rast” auf einer malerischen Insel für Kreuzfahrtgäste organisiert. In der Zeit kann man Boot oder Katamaran fahren, Fisch fangen und sogar im Kochen (und auch im Kosten) der bekannte Don Fischsuppe teilnehmen, und Autorlieder am Feuer zuhören.
