Aram Ilich Khachaturyan (1903-1978), composer, conductor. Professor of composition (1951-1978). People`s Artist of the USSR, Hero of Socialist Labour, Laureate of the Lenin and State Prizes. Together with his pupils. Sitting are: Anatol Vieru, N.K. Gabuina. Standing are: A.A. Nickolayev ahd N.N. Chargeishvili.

Vissarion Yakovlevich Shebalin (1902-1963), composer. Teacher of composition (1928-1949, 1951-1963, since 1936 – professor), director (1942-1948). People`s Artist of the RSFSR, Laureate of the USSR State Prize. With a jubilee diploma on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Conservatoire.
