Many years of Yu. Amano’s life have been consecrated to serving the IAEA. While heading this organization for ten years, he has done a lot to achieve the aims and goals of the Agency.
Despite the challenging situation in the world, under the leadership of Yu. Amano, the IAEA Secretariat has been conducting a balanced policy that allows the Agency to maintain a professional, non-politicized vector in its activities. This is confirmed by today’s unquestionably high authority of the IAEA as the main international organization responsible for the full range of issues related to the peaceful uses of nuclear energy.
