Background
Gazprom Transgaz Surgut is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gazprom. The company has 26 branches, including 14 gas pipeline operation centers with 38 compressor shops and 273 gas compressor units. Gazprom Transgaz Surgut operates over 6,500 kilometers of gas trunklines running from the Zapolyarny town to the borders of the Omsk and Kurgan Regions, and transmits nearly 200 billion cubic meters of pipeline gas per year.

Gazprom Transgaz Surgut implements coronavirus prevention measures. These include a mandatory face mask requirement, body temperature screenings in the morning and in the daytime, prohibition from work for people with elevated body temperature, and a video link mode for operational meetings involving more than ten persons. The shift period has been extended to 90 days, the movement of employees within the company has been minimized, and visits of third-party and contracting companies have been limited. A 14-day isolation period in the buffer zones has been arranged for the employees before their shift. Enhanced safety measures are adopted during the transportation of shift workers from the isolation areas to production facilities. All shift workers of Gazprom Transgaz Surgut are supplied with medical masks and disinfectants, and the medical personnel is provided with personal protective equipment (suits, respirators, and face shields).
