A working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, and Mikhail Kovalchuk, President of National Research Centre “Kurchatov Institute”, took place today at St. Petersburg International Gas Forum 2024.
The parties discussed the ongoing implementation of their agreement on scientific & technical cooperation and the status of the innovative projects that are being carried out by the institute at the request of Gazprom.
In particular, attention was paid to the creation of hi-tech equipment and materials for implementing offshore projects, conducting underwater technical operations and providing energy supplies to the existing and prospective production facilities.
