ROSATOM Infrastructure Solutions Acquires Controlling Interest in Quadra Power

Rosatom Infrastructure Solutions (RIS, a ROSATOM company) announces that it has acquired 82.47% of Quadra’s stock capital from ONEXIM Group. The parties signed the contract on January 31, 2022, in Moscow.

“Rosatom Infrastructure Solutions manages ROSATOM’s heat and electric power generation facilities and implements comprehensive utility upgrade projects in cities where nuclear power plants are located. Quadra’s footprint includes many regions where ROSATOM also operates; our nuclear facilities are located in three of these regions. Combining our competencies within the ROSATOM structure will create synergy to improve heat supply efficiency and quality, offer better customer service, and launch integrated development projects in partnership with local governments,” commented  Xenia Sukhotina, CEO of RIS.

Quadra is one of the largest Russian heat and electric power suppliers. After merging with RIS, the company’s facilities will be upgraded to enable better efficiency and heat supply reliability. Local environmentally-friendly project roadmaps will be drawn up and initiatives to digitalise  the electric power and heat generation system will be launched. Quadra will deliver on its ongoing contracts with consumers, partners and authorities, including  existing concession agreements.
