Rostral Columns (lat. columna rostrata): located on the arrow Vasilevsky Island. Opposite the Stock Exchange

In 1806 two column-shaped lighthouses adorned with rostrums (sculptural replicas of ships’ prows) were built on the Spit of Vasilyevsky Island.
