More than a hundred stuntmen, trophy German armored vehicles and restored WWII-era Soviet tanks took part in the re-enactment of the Red Army’s storming of the Reichstag along with the Battle of Berlin in Patriot Park near Moscow. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, during the historical reconstruction, the participants used two T34-85 tanks, two IS-2 tanks, two self-propelled artillery units, four BM-13 Katyusha rocket launchers from the Soviet side.
The ‘Wermacht’s’ side employed four Panzer IV tanks, two Panzer III tanks, a Panzer VI tank, a Sturmgeschutz self-propelled gun, armored vehicles and two Messershmitt Bf-109E aircraft.
