The Fourth Big art schools’ festival on the 2d of June in Moscow Hermitage Garden is the festival of modern technologies in art created by children. The program includes sound art, graffiti, performances, charity fair, original workshops, exhibition “Your laboratory of senses” and light installations. Singer Mot is announced to be the headliner.
The Big art schools’ festival is the festival of independent art, new technologies and art practices presented by children. The program of the forth festival, which is held annually as a part of International Children’s Day at different city locations, for the first time were created by students of Moscow art schools – participants of experimental project of Moscow Government called “ART laboratory”.
ART laboratory is a new form of creative education for students of Moscow art schools where under the guidance of famed tutors they invent modern projects for the big city. In 2018 the laboratory represents 8 creative directions – architecture, graffiti, art object, music, light installations, performance, branding and art space. Each direction is in charge of a famed tutor such as founder of the center for contemporary arts “Winzavod” Sofya Trotsenko, artist Andrey Bartenev, singer Manizha, pianist Nikola Melnikov, founder of “Radugadesign” studio Ivan Nefedkin and the others.
Talented students will present at the festival their projects which they made up within two project schools of ART laboratory. Among them are interactive exhibition “Your laboratory of senses”, light installation “Magic garden”, performances about happiness, “ecological” graffiti and also the experimental set with a musician Dmitriy Ustinov and modern composer from Singapore Dr.Joyce Koh.
Also on two stages of the Hermitage Garden guests are welcomed to concerts that unify classics and jazz performed by symphony orchestras, jazz bands of Moscow art schools and talented children – the participants and winners of “Voice” show, The Delphic Games and The Grants of the Mayor of Moscow. The concert program will be finished by a performance of singer Mot – the headliner.
Among other things, all the children at the festival will have the opportunity to pass auditions for studying at Moscow art schools, to take part in painting and musical workshops and to visit a charity fair in favor of charitable foundation “Vera”.
The entrance is free and any creative activities are available from 12 p.m. till 12 a.m. on the 2d of June in Moscow Hermitage Garden.

Nowadays any child in Moscow can get creative education on any directions – music, art disciplines, dance and theatre. There are 155 educational institutions under the control of Department of culture that are available for kids from 6 to 18 years old from April till October. Also you can get to the paid department during the academic year if there are available options.
