Looking for
something to do this weekend in Moscow? Love beer? Have we got a festival for
you!
On Saturday
the Flacon Art and Design Center is hosting the Craft Depot Fest 2017, a celebration
of craft beer from around the world. Over 75 breweries from Russia, Europe and
even the U.S. will be pouring their wares by the mugfull all day and half the
night. You can check out beers from Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Germany,
Scotland and Ireland. You can decide if you prefer Lithuanian to Estonian craft
beer — or the other way around. And you can taste what small breweries in
Brooklyn are up to.
For
brewers, large and small, there will be lectures, talks, and master classes.
For them and everyone else, there will be souvenir stands and a market — and,
of course, food trucks selling the perfect beer food: American, Mexican and
Belgian. To help you get in the mood, there will be music, too: CityPipes,
BOOZEMEN ACOUSTIC JAM, Remark, NEEDSHES, and many more.
The event
will be held in the Art Space of Flacon from noon to 11 p.m. Day tickets range
from 750 to 5,000 rubles, depending on how limited or unlimited you want your
beer degustation.
