In the park named after Babushkin a bronze bust of Ivan Vasilyevich Babushkin was unveiled in January 1956. The monument was designed by the sculptor V. I. Znoba.
Babushkin (1873—1906) was a disciple and close assistant of V. I. Lenin. He was one of the most gifted proletarian revolutionaries, and Lenin called him the “pride of the Party”.
